Musical Morse Code

Last week Key Stage 3 music students learnt about Grażyna Bacewicz, a Polish composer who used Morse Code in her music. They listened to a bit of the soundtrack from Inspector Morse, which often hides clues in the outro music in morse code!

We learnt how to use morse code and spelt out a word or name. We then started using our morse code rhythm to turn it into a piece of music! You can view an example of our students' work below:
